The Role

This role is from: July 9, 2024 - September 27, 2024

This Position can be Remote between : July 9, 2024 - August 13, 2024 and September 10, 2024 - September 27, 2024. 

 

Manage the overall process/protocol/guidelines for all players in conjunction with USTA Player Services.

  • Oversee room numbers and reservations alongside reservations staff
  • Oversight of planning and execution of official hotel experience
  • Arrival/departure experience
  • Special Events - will liaise with staff managing these
  • F&B/Dining operations and billing
  • Transportation
  • On property customer service experience
  • On property troubleshooting
  • Security
  • Main point of contact for meeting space, banquet and player operations buildout with hotel prior to and during event
  • Responsible for hotel staff scheduling

Logistics and Coordination:

  • Oversee room numbers and reservations in coordination with reservations staff.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the official hotel experience for players.
  • Ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience for all players.
  • Coordinate and liaise with staff managing special events.

Hospitality Operations:

  • Food & Beverage/Dining operations, including billing processes.
  • Manage transportation logistics for players.
  • Supervise on-property customer service experience and address troubleshooting needs.
  • Implement security measures to ensure the safety of players.

Event Logistics:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for meeting space, banquet, and player operations buildout with the hotel both before and during the event.

Staff Coordination:

  • Responsible for hotel staff scheduling

Who You Are

  • Punctual and impeccably presented, adhering to shift attendance requirements and maintaining a neat, well-maintained uniform.
  • Possess a positive demeanor and outstanding communication skills.
  • Available to work the full duration of the onsite US Open tournament, including days, nights, weekends, and extended hours
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.

The salary for this position is $10,000. This position is exempt.
