We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role
Independently manage USTA sponsor partnerships and serve as the main point of contact for the relationship and all aspects of activation including pre-event planning and on-site event operations and management. Prepare recap and renewal materials and new business presentations. Support departmental and cross-organizational projects.
PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Develop, enhance and service partner relationships with assigned supplier accounts (3-5)
- Support Director, Partnership Marketing on designated partnerships (2-3)
- Manage the pre-event planning, delivery and maintenance of assigned partner accounts
- Coordination of obligations to the USTA (i.e. product donations, equipment)
- Upsell assigned accounts to participate in new platforms and programs with a focus on monetization (events, digital, etc.)
- Working knowledge of digital and social medial platforms and integration of partner content
- Review and approval of sponsor materials through appropriate USTA channels.
- Meeting preparation and action plans including agenda, presentations and recaps
- Ensure the delivery of all contractual obligations for assigned partner accounts.
- Assist with the development of recaps, renewal strategies including financial forecasts and presentations
- Support Director, Partnership Marketing on new business proposal development and pitches
EVENT MANAGEMENT
- Manage the planning, scheduling and execution of sponsor related on-site activation and experiences
- Manage all aspects of dedicated Sponsor Session on-site deliverables
- Promotional space development and utilization
- Special events (i.e. PR, corporate clinics, VIP experiences)
- Budget management as applicable
- Coordinate and oversee sponsor move-in, set-up and load out with Facility Operations
OTHER USTA PROGRAM SPONSORSHIPS
- Manage USTA sponsor relationships and deliverables related to USTA programs including USTA Foundation, USTA League, Community Tennis programs / events.
Who You Are
- The position requires a college degree and a minimum of five years’ experience working with corporate partners and managing the operational aspects related to sponsorship benefits at a professional sports league or team, sports marketing agency, or in conjunction with a premiere sports event similar to the US Open.
- Candidate should have a proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships; experience with contracts; manage multiple tasks under pressure: provide a high level of customer service; and, to develop and implement creative/effective sponsor driven consumer promotions.
- Additionally, the candidate should possess strong communication skills — oral and written, a high degree of integrity, and ability to work with high profile clients, a positive attitude and the ability to solve problems. The candidate must possess the ability to work as an effective member of a team.
- Sales experience
- The position is classified as exempt (not eligible to receive paid overtime).
- This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time. Please consult HR for the most current policy."

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
