We are seeking Seasonal Command Center team members who play an essential role in the US Open guest experience. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the opportunity to assist and deliver customer service to visitors from around the world. Our team members genuinely enjoy interacting with people, know what it takes to provide excellent customer service.

The Role

  • Liaison between the Command Center and guests to ensure timely response to requests for wheelchair accommodation 
  • Report to and work closely with the Command Center management 
  • Managing requests for wheelchair services and ensuring efficient service delivery throughout National Tennis Center 
  • Maintaining open communication with team members, clients, other relevant Command Center staff, often via radio or phone.

 

Who You Are

  • Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained unifor
  • Must maintain a positive demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament and be available days, nights, weekends and extended hours
  • Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Bilingual (preferred)
  • Capable working in fast-paced high-stress environment 
  • On-time and flexible with shifts
  • This position is non-exempt

  • Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $18.00
