The Role
- Support the USTA’s efforts focused on US Open Fan Access Pass—a program granting exclusive access to thrilling activations, coveted photo opportunities, and VIP seating during US Open Fan Week. We're seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team and be the face of the brand, ensuring every registered fan enjoys a top-notch experience. Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule for US Open Fan Week, which will take place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., August 19 - August 25, 2024.
- The role includes:
- Greeting and assisting fans with registration and inquiries about the Fan Access Pass.
- Ensuring smooth operation of activation access with efficiency and enthusiasm.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing fan needs and inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a welcoming and organized environment throughout Fan Week.
Who You Are
- Ability to communicate clearly, and professionally with fans.
- You act as the face of the Fan Access Pass program and the US Open brand and will be interacting with thousands of fans on a daily basis.
- Competent and comfortable with technology and mobile devices.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Shade is provided when possible, but some positions will be in the direct sun.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- You will work closely & collaboratively with our vendors and USTA staff to ensure fans are receiving the best US Open experience.
The salary range for this position is $20.00 per hour. This position is non-exempt. Must be available to work on-site from August 19 - August 25.

- The position will provide operations support to the player services and relations team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with package handling.
- Player area beverage orders
- Assisting in all player areas with supplies and other ad hoc requests
- Assist with player area setup including office, locker rooms, fitness center, practice courts and other player-related areas including ordering and inventory of supplies.
- Work with the facility operations team on needs player areas.

- Manage daily practice court reservations and court usage.

- Manage the use and overall presentation of the assigned fitness areas.
Player Escort
- Lead players to and from match courts and other locations throughout the grounds.

- Assist in database maintenance and data wrangling

- Confirmed understanding of Amazon Web Service products such as S3, AWS Lambda is encouraged

Hourly rate: $35.00
Core responsibilities include:
- Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
- Must have familiarity with relational database concepts and client-server concepts. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; capturing information; evaluating output requirements and formats and documenting them.
- Improve systems by performing quality assurance reviews.
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group.
- Suggest changes to management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes.
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
